05 clutch problem!!
hey guys, i've been searching everywhere for a solution to this problem, but can't find anything. Ok...soo, in my 05 GT, i shift into first at a stop light, and as im slowing letting go of the clutch and giving gas to move, the car vibrates as if my clutch is in limbo between in and out, but its never done this before. All of a sudden, its been acting up like this. I know my clutch isn't slipping, but i can't put my finger on it. I took it to the dealership, but they coudln't duplicate it...and so, i wd-40ed the clutch pedal area, which made the clutch pedal move more freely and that seemed to work for a bit. But now she's acting up again. I have no frickin idea what is wrong with my clutch. It only happens when im at a stop and trying to go. HELP!!!! Thanks
wrong section i believe, but im willing to bet y our flywheel has hot spots, and the process of off to on, is making the car vibrate..
hot spots are an indication of that
a) you ride your clutch
b) you shift often at a very high RPM
c) your clutch has had a long life!
another thing could be the spring on the friction plate are too loose and they are not absorbing any impacts anymore..
it only takes once to hit redline and those springs become loose

i don't ride my clutch, at least i don't think i do...but i know how to drive my stick, im not some retard, but it never did it before and now all of a sudden its acting up. Sometimes it doens't do it, and then other times its nuts. i thought it was the clutch pedal, maybe the bushings are dry or something...lube?? should the warranty cover it?
