Default Site Question, what am I doing Wrong??

There must be some setting that I have wrong. This site, for me, is painfully slow. Any other forums or sites are fine, as is my wireless connection......Sometimes if I read a post, hit the back, it takes forever to go back. If I post, and then go to other threads, read, hit back, it will eventually have to page through everything, including the post I posted, before it gets back to the main section page....

So what the heck. Is it me? What setting do I not have correct?? I cannot believe everyone has this issue......HELP!! I'm getting old and impatient.

Thanks,
Mike

John, Tony,
Well, in a way, thank God!! I really have tried everything, and thought it was me, since I have not seen other members bitch about it.....
Man, sometimes I just end up closing out Explorer and coming back in!! Kinda irritating when you have an area just how you like it, know what's old and new, etc....

Thanks for the response guys, hopefully help is on the way....[:@][:@]

Thanks,
Mike

It feels like when I had a the 386 and a 28K modem...here's another thing..at first I thought it was because I am running IE 7.0 and it has this feature about checking the websites for phising (sp?), but I jump to another website and zoom...I am there.

Tony,
OK, well, maybe not. Try this. I just did, after reading your post again, and either something just got fixed, or this helps. Right click on your Explorer icon on your desktop, and select Run without add ons. Proceed to forum....Seems lightning fast compared to earlier.....

Maybe.....

Mike,
That must only work with the newer version of IE. I'm running version 6 and it does not offer that option with a right click of the desktop icon.
I've already had some problems trying to run v 7 so I reverted to v 6.
Guess I'm stuck with this slow site problem at times.
Frustrating, especially since it's a site I visit almost every day.
Maybe the administrator will take note and possible do something about it if they can.

You are doing nothing wrong. Logging in for me has turned into a hassle. Get error message when contacting MF.
