Engine No Start

Engine No Start
I have a 65 Mustang 6 cyl 3 speed manual.
When I turn the key to start it all you hear is the Solenoid making it noise. It's a brand new Solenoid, All the Electrical stuff was replaced because the car under went a restoration and has been driven everyday. It does this intermittently. All the lights, horn, radio n such work fine. I checked the battery and it's fine, the wires are fine. I don't know what else to check. Anyone else know something that I am missing? Sometimes when you would try to start it when you turn the key you hear the solenoid and then a quick crank and then it would start up. I started it up and it was running, then it stalled, then I tried starting it back up and that was when it did the solenoid noise. I haven't jumped it yet.

RE: Engine No Start
Hi Jeff, welcome to Mustang Forums!
You will probably get a better response if you post your question in the Classic section instead of the Forum Issues and Feedback section. Just off the top of my head, I would recommend you check the starter relay and the actual starter. Another thought to keep in mind... just because something has been replaced and is *new* doesn't always mean that the new part is *good*.
Good luck!
