Default what do you guys think of a build/project section?

hey everyone.

i was wondering what you guys think of a build or project section. it seems people are starting a bunch of project threads. so this would bering them all together, cuz i know from reading all the build/project threads that people want to see the progress, and lots of pictures. so i feel this would bring out more project or build threads in order to keep it running fine. i know i am starting a 1-2 years build now so i will be keeping it busy atleast once day or two. but others will do the same. this can be mnot just for 5.0's but for all mustangs. it would also help give the builders a thumbs up or help the get along with answers to some question they post based on the building of their cars.

what do you guys think?

I think that would be a terrific idea...

I know that I would follow the builds as I eventually plan on building a car myself.

we had one, and the problem is that lots of people "plan on building a car themselves" some day...half of the members of this site have a comment in their sig about how they are "going to supercharge their car next summer", but oddly, many of them have driven NA, almost stock cars, for a few years now.

ORIGINAL: Ride Of The Month

Then make it a rule that there must actually be progress, purchases, pictures, something.

yes thats a great idea. i know many many people would follow the builds, and many themselves stated they love to see the progress and lots of pictures, so i think it'll be terrific.
let me know so i can get my thread moved.

we tried that...we had a whole section set up and everything...and no one used it.

one of the problems is that many peoples "projects" consist of two steps:

1. i bought the parts online and had them shipped to my house
2. i took the car to a shop and paid to have them installed

and thats it...that doesnt make for a very interesting project thread.
