Hello all,
Is there a way to read a partial vin on a 1969 Mach 1 CJ-Rengine block so I can verify thatthe car contains the original engine block? The block number is located on the driver's side, beneath the valve cover, on a pad. The person who has the Mach tells me thatthere are imprints on this pad, but they are impossible to read because of the paint sprayed over the block. Is there a wayto read these figures without disfiguring them with sand paper or paint remover. There are figures there, but they are unreadable with a mirror because of the paint overspray. The only other way is to pull the engine? All other parts are correct. HELP!!
Thanks,
Charlie
