Performance and Suspension are now merged into General Tech.

Appearence is merged in Detailing.

That's a start, right?

BTW, instead of uploading that picture time and time and time again, why not just use the URL like so:

THANKS!!

This leaves Detailing, Audio/Visual and Pipes, Boost and Juice... more thoughts people?

i agree with the people that say that the 5.0 people know more about 5.0's and the same with the 4.6 guys. because thats what we work on. we know what works with the exhaust and FI for are specific engine. as the moderator of the pipes boost and juiced section i am sad to say i dont think its to bad of an idea to have them put in with there respective engines. but with the down side of this the sections are going to be more cluttered. depending on who your are it might be more difficult for some and for some it might benefit more. but if press the idea that the search button is our friend. it might not be so clutterd. cause 9 times out of ten the questions that are asked in pipes boost and juiced section have been answerd many times before. just my .02

I check the pipes boost and juice all the time, I am a nitrous guy. The thing I don't get is why is exhaust lumped in with F.I.?Plus all the exhaust question are the same thing "What cat back?" or "what X-pipeā€ these questions have been answered a thousand times. I think you could really clean things up by setting the forums something up like this.

2005 and up Stangs
Fox Body Tech
SN95 Tech
4.6 Tech
Forced Induction--->Turbo, N20, and Superchargers
These are all separate and distinct cars with enough of a difference to warrant their own forum.
Any tech questions can be asked within, from exhaust to suspension to gears. I would however think a Forced induction forum is a good idea, most other boards have FI separate and it seems to work well for them.
Give the DIY forum another month and if nothing happens get rid of it.
The way the forums are laid out make no sense, their order seems random. For example the tech archive is near the top while pipes/boost and juice is near the bottom. 6cyl and 4cyl can stay the same. The General Tech forum is not really needed, it's kind of a mess as it is now, these way mods can move posts into the right forum with ease and people searching for info know where to look. Amanda I think you do a good job and these are just some suggestions that I feel might help the tech area move into a more organized direction, and draw people who are more tech orientated to the board.

I forgot to add the forums I did not mention like the A.V., and detailing are fine, they serve a purpose, most times if you are interested in making your car fast, a dvd screen is last thing on your mind and vice versa.
