Default To many different areas?

It seems to me that we have too many different posting areas for about the same thing.

We already have the "tech" section w/ 5.0, 4.6 etc. Then we have the "performance" area, then the seperate areas for pipes/boost/juice and suspension and apperance. It seems to me that if you want to ask about exaust on a 4.6 you should ask the 4.6 guys, etc.

I think alot of posts get overlooked because people post them in one of the other sections. I know that personally I almost never go into those sections and simply go into 4.6.

Just a thought.

I haven't been here long, but I noticed the same thing. I just glance on the others to see what's up.

We need to lose the Pipes, Boost, and Juice room.

I agree. That room is usless. Let the people ask those questions in the particular area in which their car applies I.E. 4.6, 5.0, or the Sixer room.

id rather see suspension booted out before the pipe n boost, but i think both of them should be, and maybe special stangs too?

Yeah you pretty much already cover the "special stangs" in with the 5.0, 4.6 etc groups.

I would think performance areas wise, all you need is something like:

Classic Mustangs
5.0
96-04 4.6 (2v and 4V)
05+ 4.6 (3v and whatever else comes about)
6 Cyl, 2.3L, and turbo

This should cover all of the perfomance questions people will have. I see no reason to be asking 5 liter guys questions about 4.6 exaust, or vice versa. Plus, it makes it easer to go into one forum and try to help answer questions.

I dunno how much people use the apperance area either, but I think you could get a better idea of what to do with your car if you were in the section that specically related to your car. I know that when I was asking about chin spoilers and tint etc, I did it in the 4.6 section. The same could be said for the spension forum, but I could be wrong.

Well I for one think the Pipes boost and juice section is actually good how it is.
Where you can ask about that stuff as a whole or whatnot.
But, do we really need a "Performance" section?
I say drop everything in that small area except for Pipes Boost n Juice.
Toss it up with the engine specific forums and call it a day
