A temporary fix to the Postpro.asp 500 error.
I'm fairly new to the forums so I don't know if this fix has been mentioned before or if some members already know about it. I was in the off topic section and couldn't post in a thread. Originally, I thought it would work to restart the browser, go back to the main forums page and try again, etc. None of that worked consistently.
Luckily, I found a way to fix it by removing about 99/100 apostrophe's in the post heading. Apparently there is a problem with either the title maxing out or there being too many apostrophes in the title.
So far, every time I've tried this, it has worked for me. I would like to hear more.
Maybe the root of this problem can be solved by finding a fix for the apostrophe problem.
Thank you!
P.S. I appreciate the work done on the forums to keep it in shape. I'm sure things like the apostrophe problem isn't an easy fix.
