Thumbs up Help, low but mean looking!

Hi All,

We just bought our baby last fall and put a ton of miles on it. BUT... she is low. The last owners dropped it with new springs front and back. The tires rub on tight turns and rough roads. The hooker headers hit snails (about an inch and a half clearance), but when they blow out I'll just put on shorties. My big issue is the tire rub, please don't tell me I need to raise it back up cause my wife likes it where it is, nuff said. Would a deeper inset rim do it, or will I have clearance issues on the inside then? You see we need new tires, although the american racing rims are nice maybe they need to sit in the well deeper. I even thought of an air ride system, but 2 grand may be hard to come by. New to the site, thanks for the forum, sure would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!
