Default Parking brake problems

My car is an 07 mustang 5 speed manual
I have an disequilibrium for rear end ebrake ... I have searched under the car ( the plate where the 2 rear cables join ) is not staying straight and when i pull the ebrake the left cable is tightened faster then the right cable ( i suppose that one of the cables is 2-3 mm shorter thats why the plate is slightly lop-sided ) . Does exist any bolt or screw or something to regulate the length of the cable ... or any sollution to fix them straight ? Or new right hand cable I already tighten the nut from the handle.
