Help Please !
I recently got a 2014 Ford mustang v6 premium convertible. I've had this car maybe 3 or 4 months and have put 4000 miles on it (yes i know i drive a lot). I've been having an issue that i'm not really sure the source is. Below 40 degrees when sitting for more than 4 hours the car will not start. It will show "check charging" "check track" and won't show a fuel life or an oil life. The car itself will not crank even though all of my light are on , headlights, interior everything works fine it just will not crank. Then when it hits about 45 degrees I will try again and it will turn on but it's completely in limp mode. there's a little wrench and a temp symbol on the dash. my rpm's will be over two and the engine will rev itself. so i'll turn it off and turn it back on it starts fine no lights nothing! in the warmer weather it also starts fine no issue. I've taken it to two ford dealerships and spent over $500 in diagnostics for them to tell me everything the battery, alternator, modules everything is completely fine. No one can tell me what is wrong with this car at all. The last thing i will mention is that on my drive home today after putting my car into park the battery light came on and the engine died but my lights were all on. I'm really confused since there "is nothing wrong with the car". Can someone give me a direction to look or has anyone also delt with this issue?
Welcome to the forum, but unless somehow the use of the forum itself is causing your problem, you are in the wrong section
Every generation has a section. Go to the S197 section and there are sub sections for the years - you need to be in the one including 2014.
