I am 15 and going to buy a 05 mustang for my first car and i was wondering if a v6 had enough power? Or do i defanatly need to step up to the basic GT? Thanx for your help also i am new to this so any assistance would be greatly aprechiated on using the site thanx again

 

I am trying to make a decision to buy and 05 v6 or gt i was wondering if the v6 has enough power it will never be brang to the track just a fun street car. Or do i need the GT thanx also it would be a v6 manual

 

Well I didnt catch your age in the last post I read, but the v6 would be quick enough for you. Not because of your age, but because you dont seem to have any experience driving. Dont you have to be 16 to drive on your own, or are you gonna take your mom and dad to the track and driving around? Just asking, I dont know how the laws are where you live.

 

i got my permit now and i been test driving cars to figure out what i am gona buy so i can buy one before i get my lisens and do stuff to it ahead of time

 

The 05/06 V6 has more power than some previous mustang GTs. However if your spending new car money you should go ahead and step up to the GT model. I can't say the V6 wouldn't be a fun car to own, I've never driven one. But I have driven a GT. Its a fun car with out a doubt. Its got power, but not to much. You'll get more driving skill by driving, you might as well get the car you'll want to drive the most. You just need to spend some time in both cars and see which one you like better.

 

The V6 is rated at 200HP and the GT is at 300HP so you make your call on which has more HP. I say get a 04 GT which is 260HP because i like the looks more and the HP is in between the V6 and GT.
