No fuel
I recently bought a '86 Mustang GT. The biggest problem with this car is the wiring around the ignition coil and solinoid was burnt. I checked all the local salvage yards but was unsuccessful in finding a replacement pigtail. So I bought a Hayes book from Autozone and took it home and wired the car. All is working again, except I can't get the fuel pump to send fuel to the injectors. I fired the car up by spraying some starting fluid in the air intake, Boom, what do you know the car actually runs and quite well since it hasn't ran since '02. Does anyone have any idea how what I should do the track down the problem with the fuel pump. I know the pump works because I hot wired it and it comes on. I feel that I must have one wired wrong under the hood, or don't have the right one hooked up.
