Default Cone Filters?!

cone filters - do them bad boys work or do they just suck in the heat from ur engine?, i eventually wanted to get like a bbk fenderwell intake but for how much those cost i could buy me a set of 373's and have my buddy put em in. im bout to just say screw it take out my silencer and slap a big cone filter on there and what about that k&n crap, do those make a difference? they look and feel identical to other brands. who all has cone filters on here instead of fender wells?

also can u buy those cold air wall things anywhere? (the things that black the engine heat)

all replys are greeaaaaaaaaaatly appreciated.

Default RE: Cone Filters?!

i think steeda makes and adapter plate to put a 4" opening filter on other wise you have to get the one that attaches to the mass air.
