Default Stupid ? How do i fix rot in the flooring of my stang????

i know it's prolly a stupid question, but i'm still pretty new at this whole rebuilding of a classic. I know that that have replacment panels for rot , but i really don't want to just "cover" it up. Would it be better to cut the whole rot spot out, or is there something simpler or easier out there to fix the problem? Thanks for the input..

To put in replacement panels, you're supposed to cut out the rust and most of the floor pan, and just weld them in, like a brand new floor.

You might want to fix what's making the floors leak in the first place *cough*cowl*cough*

there are two ways to do it like wax said you can buy a floor pan replacement or if its just a couple of small holes you can make some patch panels and weld them in.
