Default NHRA Rules

I'm eager to run in the Fun Ford Weekend comming up in may in Louisiana in the new Ultra Stang class, but I have a convertible. By the time this comes, this car will be well into the 12's. No Problem Raceway follows the same rules as the NHRA rulebook regarding safety and inspections. Does anyone have an NHRA rule book who could tell me if I will run into any problems with tech. I want to know soon so that if any modifications need to be made, I can make them.

Either call the track or e-mail them so there is no confusion.

You will need a roll bar, not a cage, there is a differance. You will also need a helmet that meets current specs, along with the basics like overflow can etc. You can buy an NHRA rule book for $10 they are well worth it.

Actually I think he can get away with a 5 point bar (no door bar on the passenger side). Also note that a 6 point is not a "cage" unless it has a halo loop.
