why not just disconnect the speedo cable from the back of the cluster or the tranny? so you leased you car eh?

6.0 ur funny as hell lol.by the way thats a pretty sweet ride you got there ls6 i take it? turbostang can you lease a car that is a 2001????I actually wanted to know because ill be towing it behind a winebago across the country well lets say 2800 miles and dont want any unwanted miles on her.Im pretty sure the miles go by the front tires idfk.

It's not illegal if you have another way to still accurately document the mileage... which he doesn't have but still, it's not illegal in all situations.

What are you using to tow it, like a car dolly or something. If so, strap it up from the rear or remove the d/s. Oh and it (the speedo)should still be run off the tranny.
