NEED HELP!!disconnecting speedometer????
ORIGINAL: Sidewayz6.0
Easier yet. Look on ebay for a cluster with low miles. Drive yours as long as you want, then swap out the cluster when you want it to read less.
*Sidewayz doesn't condone this kind of fraud, but when one asks of my vast ridiculous knowledge I tend to give the advice needed.

I think you would have to get around the pats system that is embedded into the odometer portion of your current cluster, before you can just switch the clusters out.
Whatever the "pats" system is, IDK. But swapping the cluster with one that has less miles does work. As dumb as it sounds, the mileage is actually stored in the cluster. You'd think they would be smarter than that. But apparently they're not.
