Best racing fuel?
I think vfast pretty much summed it up. To get a breakdown of the different fuels go to http://www.vpracingfuels.com
I will say that I did have a problem with Trick, but switched to VP C16, and the detonation problem was solved. (I kept loosing the elctrodes off the plugs) AV gas is also not made for the typical street driver, due to the additives that are put in.
I checked with a TON of sources, and with my compression (12.4 to 1) and adding N2O, C16 was the only choice.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the car. Believe it or not, I had never attended a drag race in my life, until about 4 years ago, and as you can tell, the bug hit me pretty hard. I lived 20 miles from Fremont Drag Strip in Fremont, CA for 15 years but never went. I spent many hours with my nose in books that talked about the history of Ford in both SCCA and drag racing. Some great stuff. Bought bracket racing books, attended Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School for 3 days..so I was serious.
One of my neighbors here locally own a 65 FB, GT350R, serial number: 650003. Over time he has also collected all of the GT350H's and has one in each color. What a show that is. All originals.
You have quite a list of some "heavy hitter" cars. If you have any photos, send them my way. I did see that HMS is selling the 69 428 CJ.

Thanks again,
Ron
