Default motor help quick

doing a 5.0 swap my motor has been sitting for about 6 mos. and now wont turn over by hand or with starter do i need to look for another or can it be fixed

Could the engine be turned by hand before it was stored?If so,it could just need some persuasion.If you just want to get the thing running use the biggest breaker bar with the longest cheater and turn the engine over.I would remove the spark plugs and squirt some oil into the holes and turn the engine a few times by hand before trying to run it.Then I'd crank the engine with the starter,still without plugs,untill the oil pressure guage shows pressure.
Now reinstall everything and try to start the engine normally.
If it starts to turn but stops abruptly then theres some kind of mechanical interference that might have gotten into the engine.This will require a tear down to fix.
