Turbonator?
Check it out at www.turbonator.com. Anyone ever heard of this? Sounds like a scam/joke to me, but I thought you guys might be interested. If it is for real, thats pretty cheap too.
Sounds like a load of crap to me. There's no way in hell you'd make an extra 35hp. Any one who claims real numbers on something like this is scheming.
Just because the turbonator makes the air spin doesn't mean that when it goes around the bends in your intake manifold and heads that the rough surfaces aren't going to cause turbulance and aid in creating chaotic flow again. I'm not saying it wouldnt work on some level, but if someone doesn't have dyno results or a video, I'm not buying one.

This would only work on a Carborated engine, not on a Fuel Injected engine.
Dont waste your money. If anything they will rob your gas mileage and a few HP from obstructing the flow in your intake.
They dont even add the amount of boost (1psi) that they claim.

no one has evidence of it working or not, i've never seen pics or anything statistical.
MTShambles is right however to point out that if the theory worked, it would probably work better on carbourated engines due to the fact that the intake path is more direct....

Most ARE nothing more than a lot of crap. Don't waste your money on these "get fast quick" gimmicks. If it sounds too good to be true......IT IS! I read a test on a Mustang GT where he actually dynoed lower with the turbonator installed and his mileage went to hell also. On a very specific few automobiles this addition may work to some extent. On Mustangs, don't waste your time.

If a simple gadget helps fuel economy and/or performance,, then why wouldn't your car come from the factory with one already installed?
