I was on my way home today on a road that was parrllel to an interstate, all of a sudden...WHAM!!!! I look back and there is a huge piece of asphalt about the size of two footballs. They had been working on the road earlier in the week. Then I hear this spatting noise. So I drive two more miles home and there is a huge *** whole in one of my headers! And the alternator is shaking like crazy. So I am taking my moms car over there and file a police report. Will the DOT pay for this?

Usually you have to stop right after it happens and file the report so it can be investigated then and there.
