can I swap my 90 stang rear for my 00 ranger rear. my stang has 3.55 and the ranger has 3.73.

nope 2000 ranger has a 7.5 ring gear your stang has an 8.8[8D]

i thought that some of the later rangers had 8.8 s ......look on tag on cover,,,it will say there,,

is your 90 stang a 4 banger or was it originally?If so it will have a 7.5 which you will be able to as long as the ranger didnt flip flop like most fords and change what they used.
