Default front end humming noise

I have a 2002 5sp GT. I am getting this loud humming noise from my left front end. When I turn left at a certain angle the noise goes away. Any ideas what this might be? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a wheel bearing going bad.

I found out that the front wheel bearing is a hub assembly. Has anyone ever replaced one of these? Do I need any special tools? Thanks.
