Default Hood scoop regulations?

Hey, im looken into getting something with a bit of a hood scoop and i dont know what the max WI regulation height for it would be. Could some one help me out, thanks.

I think 3" is ok for WI. The law states no mods are to be done to a car, but its kind of wishy washy and easy to get around most of the time. I would buy something that is not an obvious hazzard. You can call the state patrol too. Or just keep your old hood and if the "fuzz" gives you a warning swap it out have it inspected than swap it back .LOL!

three inches? damn... it's on a '74 camaro and it's right around 8 inches-ish. Oh well, i think i got it under control now-
