Default 1986 v6 to v8

i want to go from the v6 to v8 for sure just not sure where to start because all the imformation i find is is either from 87and up or older not 1986 there was a man at the shop yesterday that said he had an 80s lincoln with a carburated 302 and tranny that work great and since there is no title i could take it a for 300 does anyone know if it would work in this car and if positives and negatives of efi over carburated.................thanks

what will cost alot to go to a normal 5.0 or the efi to carburated

it cost alot......thanks for a reply but not what im looking for i could go out and buy pretty much whatever car i want but thats not my plan i want to restore this one and give it somemore power is there a link to a thread on this site where a motor swap has been done similar to this one it looks like i have to find a donor 5.0 and strip the wire harness and motor mounts and crossmember any other big parts you guys can think of
