Default springs

will 5.0 lowering springs work on the 4 bangers? or will the lack of weight in the front keep the front from putting enough pressure on the springs?

Yup. They'll work..if you want it to look like a 4X4. The spring rates take in consideration the engine weight. Now, you can cut the springs to bring the car lower. But I say just get the right springs to begin with

i was just looking into a 1.5" lower. nothing dramatic. wasnt sure if that small of a drop would have to depend on engine weight or not. thanks harv.

You'd probably be sitting at the same height if you put v8 springs on your 4banger. Look for SVO or tbird sc springs, I think they're a little lower and they were 4's.
