Hey anyone know what power can be pushed with a c6 transmission? I dont wanna destroy it, i heard its strong though. This is the only transmission of choice as c4 cant be found, so this is what i gotta work with guys....Whats advantage, disadvantages of it and how should it be used when at the drag strip?

hey, I am in the process of installing the c6 behind my 351w. Everyone I talked to said it would rob me of about 30-40 hp but also said it was a bit#h to tear up, meaning you cant break it. It is a heavy duty tranny made for pulling so its gonna be tough. Do like me and make up for that 30-40 horses by pressing that little red button!!!! 30-40 not even noticible when you have 150 in its place. Really I think its a good choice if your looking for tranny life. If your looking for the most power go c4 but dont expect it to last as long.
