Default Cold Air Intakes

Since the horsepower produced is related to the amount of airflow, does anyone have any views on whether or not twin cold air intakes would be beneficial to the S197 GTs? I know the FR500 had them, but I believe it was a reworked 4V Cobra motor and had twin MAFs as well, whereas the S197s are 3Vs with single MAFs. Any thoughts?

because you still have to feed the air through one mass air meter and one throttle boddy and the stock plenum.
