Default Thoughts on Used control Arms

Im ganna be gettin used lower lakewood control arms tomorrow sometime. Anything I should look for When I look at them.

just put new bushings on them you should be ok.. energy suspensionmakes good polyurithane bushings.... thats what i run anyway..

look at the bushings. they shouldn't be cracked or broken, other than that I dunno how to tell if the bushings are still good. also check the zirc/zerk/zirk(??)/grease fittings and see if they are all clogged up or anything else.

you might want to find out how much replacement bushing will cost before you make a decision, just in case.

I'd tell you to look at the welds and make sure they are good and solid, but I got some BBK's, and the welds on them look like a gorilla got ahold of the machine for a couple of minutes and just absolutely went ape****

Ha, well im going to be a welder by profession here before too long, so ill know a good weld when i see one.

Yup...what they said. Check the bushings to see if they are dry and cracked or crushed. They will most likely be fine if they were greased properly. If not, bushings aren't too expensive.

as long as the welds arn't cracked and the control arms arn't bent i

and of coarse the bushings are good i seen no reason not to buy used control arms
