Default Spraying high temp back paint inside exhast?

Just got new dual exhaust put on and the guy at the shop said to spray hi temp paid inside the muffler, let it sit for 2 hours and repeat the process. He also said to clean it with brake wash and silicone spray. Does this sound right? I might of mixed it up

On the inside of the pip...where it's hot as hell and going to be coated in carbon no time flat.......I dont' get it.

What is a good idea is to put some antiseize on the places you clamp the pipes together so you can take them apart later.
