i have a 2000 gt mustang, whats the ratio of gears it has, and when u say u can change it how and wut exactly does that mean? i drive around in the city more often and am in stop and go traffic sometimes.... thanks!

 

Stock gears for a 2000 GT are 3.27 I think. An upgrade to 4.10s would be a great idea, unless you do alot of highway driving. I have 3.73 and I'm happy with them but alot of people on here prefer the 4.10s

 

depends, are you auto or manual? the autos wit the 16" rims had 3.08 gears

 

At least 4.10`s or nothing. You`ll be happy.

You dont do it yourself. U buy the gears, and shim kit and take it to a shop. I will be about 2-300 to get them installed. Get 4.10's I had 3.73's and they werent enough for me. Good luck.
