Default Another tire Q

Hey I want to know what you guys think of these tires Kumho ECSTA Supra 712, Yokohama AVS ES100, Kumho ECSTA SPT, BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW.

I want to get the BFgoodrich but they are 104 a piece and I can get the Kumho's for about 70 and the yokohama for about 98 or so.

Kumho tires suck, period. As for the rest youlisted, they are better choices.

Ha ha Yeah I ha the ecsta and they sucked but those were different models so thats why I asked. What about the yokohama? They are just a bit cheaper but are they worth it. Also I think I am going to get tires for the back for now, get the front ones later. I want to go to the track this mnth and I cant on the tires I got now.

those yokohama avs es100 have a similar tread pattern to my michellin sport pilots, tread pattern looks wicked cool. i run yokohama tires on all my company work trucks and i own a construction company so you know they go through their rounds. yokohama's a good name in tires as far as i'm concerned.

at least 30,000, that's when my trucks get changed weather they need it or not; which they generally don't. so probably 35-40,000 miles.

Oh thats not bad. I have nankang now and I had them for about 1.5 years and they are gone in the back. The front isnt that bad but it could be much better.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Kumho Ecsta MXs and they're relatively cheap. You may also want to look at the BFG Traction T/As for another cheaper choice

Go to www.tirerack.com and look through all the 245/45-17's they list. Many of their tires are cheap but very good. Avons are not expensive and their M+S Z rated tire is listed as number one choice overall with customer satisfaction. Lots of good choices at Tire Rack. Good luck!
