I have Kumho 711's on my V6 vert (245/45/17) and a Kumho touring series on my wifes ZX2 (DD) and a set of Kumho ST series on my S10 (DD). I have been putting Kumho tires on vehicles for years and have had great results. Sure they're not THE tire name or THE performance tire, but IMO they're a great "bang for the buck" product.
The 711's ride great (just drove to and from the Ga. coast-6 hr. each way).
They are described as a summer tire and I have noticed during really cold days, they are a bit rough until warm (5-10 miles).
But I store my car and it can sit for weeks, so it may be the cold or a combination of both.
Since spring has hit and I get the vert out more often and in nice temps., the car rides and handles great. I had the 711's put on in Dec. when I bought the cobra r's.

I started using them years ago when my dad and uncle had a car lot and used to put them on the more "sporty" vehicles. I still buy them from the same local shop, crazy cheap, mounted, balanced.

Just telling you my experience with Kumho. Thought it might help more than "Kumho tires suck, period".
Later.

I also have the G-force KDW2's and love them. They grip great in dry or wet weather look awesome and ride very well. I have them in 295/18/35 rear and 265/18/35 front. Look at discounttire.com they had the best deals and get the warrenty. I had 200 miles on mine when I got a bolt in the rear tire. They sent me a new one no questions asked. Warranty was only 28 bucks per tire.
