Default Cheapest Rubber 245/45/17

Ive got MT ET Street Radials on the back right now, and I am tired of never peeling out from a stop sign or stop light. They are too exspensive to play around on, and I am looking forward to something CHEAP and CRAPPY to burn up.

The cheapest I have found thus far is Sumitomo HTR Z II's i believe, they are 70 dollars on tirerack.

any better deals?
thanks,

it says the regular HTR Zs are 69 a tire, thats mad cheap. If u want tires to burn why dont u just buy some cheap used ones off ebay or something...

Go to new town and buy used [8D] Like $10 or $20 a tire, and i guarantee they'll be cheap and crappy.

Go to a tire shop and get some used tires.I don't think they retread high performance tires so keep your eyes open and when someone gets a new set of tires for their Mustang you take the old ones and burn 'em till your'e hearts content.
Warning!!!That's why cops drive around with their windows down.To hear things like that going on.

Im not looking for something to just burn the hell out of and then throw away.

I want some CHEAP tires that i can use as daily drivers that i wont be afraid to squeal more often.

In almost 3K miles on my current MT's, i think ive spun them (aside from the track) maybe 5 times on dry pavement, and 2 times on wet. That gets boring and depressing.

With cheap rubber, i wont feel bad about it.

See

i would say spend a little more and get a little better of a tire than the cheapest you can find. For $80/tire people seem to like the General Exclaim UHP
