Default New here, Gear Question...

Hey guys,
First off I just want to say hey! I am a new Mustang owner, just bought a 91 5.0 Lx auto (not what i prefer but the price was right). It already has BBK eql. Lenght headers, and H-pipe on it. I also was told it might have 3.73 put on by two owners ago. I am pulling 2grand at around 65mph is that correct for 3.73s? It hits pretty hard when it downshifts, so I am pretty sure they aren't 3.08s but I just would like to check. Also what are some other great bang for your buck perforamce stuff. I was thinking of a 75mm mass flow, 65mm throttle body and spacer, CAI, flowmaster or Dynomax catback, anything else I should look at? Suspenion and other stuff should be added shortly. Anyway I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Ben

I dont really know to much about the AOD but I would think 3.73's would run alot higher rpm. Its really hard to say. My friend has a 96 GT auto and it has 3.73's and runs about 3 at 65.

Ya but the 4.6 might be different. Is there any other way to check?
Thanks

that seems about right for 3.73's-my 88 pulled about 2300rpm at 70 mph in overdrive with the stock size tires on 15" wheels
