I am looking to buy a cold air intake for my 89 5.0 in the next few days off ebay. My problem is my motor is a crown vic set up for speed density. The cold air intake for the speed density setup is 4 times what you can get one for a mass air setup and i dont really see that much difference. They both have a break about half way down the intake to accept the mass air meter. My question is can i get one for a 89-93 and just clamp it together where the air meter should go? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
