hey whats up, i drive a 94 mustang GT 5.0 and i recently installed a cold air intake, but i need to know whats next. i dont know if it was a good idea or not, but i ordered a performance chip. i am on a pretty low budget, i am 16, dont work many hours. but id like to impress that gay kids with the hondas. lemme know what i should do.

 

Go with new exhaust....IMO

 

i have heard of sweet exhaust that just rumbles, i want the classic mustang rumble, not the sick japanese screech. this car was purcahsed form a man who raced it, and put custom exhaust on it, my sis has a 95 GT and sounds nothing like my exhaust does. It sounds good, but i was looking to get the kind that you can hear a mile away, but for a fair price. what should i do?

 

you should search this forum 1st before asking .. you'll find no less than 20 posts ...
I don't know why you want people hearing you a mile away but for a fair price
go with Flowmaster (cheap and loud)

Bassani - ferrari like (i read that somewhere) .. too expensive though

 

If you want performance, go with Magnaflow. Slowmasters are what you call "classic" because that is what most Mustangs have in them. I go for performance. I love my Magnas! Not too loud until I get on it!!!

 

A few months ago I think it was either 50 or MMFF did a report of exhaust, tyno proven was Magna Flows and Borla XR1. They did db testing as well. There were close in DB as well as Peak HP and Tq. I bought SteedaCatBack because they use Borla XR1 and I bought steeda expipe, they made by Bassabi and alot cheapier. Im a dealer for mutliply exhaust products as well as Steeda I can get prices for though who inquire. Without permission from Admin I cant say on threads.

Ideas for next sorry I forgot to give my opionion on the original question. Accufab TB with inlet pipe and CNL Mass Air. Dealer for those as well. Not saying so because I am but from what i read from other Forums Cold Air Kit Mass Air and tb to get air in the motor and ehaust for getting iit out and sounding good doing it [8D] Pulleys can help you too. Hope others agree[sm=smiley25.gif]

 

keep the exhaust you have and save your money for some new rear gears! 3.73's are a good choice for the street and will really help make your existing exhaust bark!

 

I've been thinking more about getting some 3.73's. How do they affect 5th gear? I do a good deal of highway driving over the course of a year and I don't wanna loose those low highway RPM's. Also how much is it to get a set installed? Probably wont' feel like doing it myself.

 

you can get new gears for an automatic, well stupid queestion, but i didnt think that was a big thing that needed to be replaced. i was thinking of something more along the lines of making the car faster besides NOS (mommy doesnt like that idea), and exhaust, because all that shiat confuses me. something under the hood, that when people see it, they will know its quick. so if anyone has any good deals on superchargers lemme know lol.
