can anyone explain to me how coilovers work and what benefits they have over standard spring and shock.


i need to replace all my springs shocks and struts and would like to know more about coilovers. my car is a daily driver with lots of power but i would like to keep and nice tight/ slightly lowered ride being that i will have 17"s on soon.

do coilovers eliminate the stock springs ? please help thanks
