Default looking into a 97' stang....

He everyone I been on a quest to find a nice car and I think I spotted one, the guy sounds extremely honest and is also a gear head but doesn't need the car any longer.... It's a 97' Mustang Cobra but it has 132k miles.... It's green with all around tinted windows, 5-speed (new clutch), lowered (springs and shocks) and from his words it run PERFECT (first owner)! He's looking into $7k obo for it, should I consider something like this?? I was going to check it out last week but since my car didn't sell, I couldn't do anything. Let me see if I could find any pictures....

Should I check it out in person or just walk away?

id be all over it, maybe make a lower offer of 6-6500 but it looks real clean. dont care for that green though. take it for a test drive for sure, make sure it runs as good as he claims. its high mileage but its got some good potential for later on.

sounds like a pretty good deal. I'd feel more comfortable buying a car with that many miles form the original owner than I would buying one that has had 3 or 4 owners. That way you know only 1 person has beat on it.

I say go for it. Make a lower offer than $7K...start at $5.5K-$6K.
