I know this is off topic, but I would recommend a wideband over a narrowband. Try the UEGO, or NGK AFX meter!
The difference is about $3-400 in price.

I've seen them. To much for what I have right now. Maybe down the line when I put more money into the engine. This will do for now.

no... they are pretty worthless Stoich or stoicheometric on a narrow band can be a large range of degrees- If you want to know exactly what what you engine is running at the exact RPM you need a wideband. The NGK AFX that I have was just over 200 dollars so they are not that unreasonable at all. Well worth the extra money if you ask me. Mine is exact enough I can precision tune it with a handheld and havn't had any issues to date.

Onyx Cobra all that narrow band does is bounce around, if you want to try to tune your car with that go for it, but when you make a post saying your motor blew up and you can't figure out why I'm gonna give you a big internet bitch slap...lol

I'm joking around with you, please dont over react to this post and start E-thuggin on me...lol

Damn... I use the autometer a/f guage and just last week a float stuck closed and it told me so... Noooo.. you cant tune by it, but IT DOES tell you generally whats happening... if you dont care that your engine suddenly runs lean then I cant help you... pay for a rebuild....

yeah, but i never mentioned tuning. id never tune my car from a gauge either way, but it does tell you rich or lean when u get on the gas or decelerate, it might nto be as accurate as a few hundred dollar ones, but it DOES tell you something... but its not "just a light show"...

I have one it works great. It's not a bs gauge like most ppl think. Yeah, It ain't no wideband, but if you know how to read what it does when it's doing it, it can be very helpful. It's helped me out a few times.
