Default ball joint replacement?

My car needs new ball joints - mine are squeaking like something awful, so today I went and bought them for both sides. I was wondering if anyone could give me a description on how to change them, or knew of a guide / instructions that is posted somewhere else online on how to change them. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

It's a 96 v6. Is there any way to do it without having the press?

Well you can prim pete it (primitive pete for all you unknowing ppl) . But I wouldn't advise it. You'll most likely ruin the new bj's.

I have no idea what that is, but I think i'm just going to try to find someone to put them in that has a ball joint press.

You can rent a ball joint press in tool at most autoparts stores that rent tools. Don't take the Control Arm's off it is more work than it is worth just rent the tool

I thought about that, but I don't think there are any auto parts stores around that rent tools out.
