Default Increase Legroom

I recently purchased a 2003 GT convertible and I'm loving it so far. It only has 9,250 miles on it so I'm not interested in a lot of performance upgrades yet but since I'm 6'4" I wouldn't mind some more legroom. I saw a modification you can make in the '96-'98 models but when we took my seat out it doesn't appear to work the same way. Is there a similar procedure for the '03's? Thanks.

I think I have seen something that extends the seat rails back so you can move the seat more than stock. maybe cal-mustang.com or calmustang.com (it's california mustang, so google it if those don't work)

where did you see that thing about 96-98s? id love to be able to move my seat back further. im 6'2" and its hard to get in and out and sometimes my knees hit the wheel. the remote on my key ring always hits my knee when turning. its so annoying

On some cars (not sure of the years) if you take the seat out there is a second set of holes on the sliders, just remount and your all set.

Here's the link for the procedure I referenced above:

http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/...amajmseats.htm

On my car it was pretty easy to remove the seat but there was not a second set of holes for remounting the seat so it didn't work. I hope this works for you.
