Don't worry about the gas cap thing. I left mine on a gas pump one time years ago not too soon after I got my first car, had to buy a new one.

Yeah - I know why you have GT on the brain. I still wish I had my 2000 GT.. that thing was a monster.

I have a K&N air filter in there and I clean it once a month, so I'm pretty sure that its working good. As far as the fuel filter goes, someone told me to change that out once every 10K miles or so. So I usually change it every 4 oil changes, or 12K miles.. it seems to be working. I am going to try uping the gap in the plugs to .056 instead of .054 - I do take good care of her... she is my life of course. I will post a pic as soon as I find one, but everyone knows what a 2001 V6 coupe looks like anyhow..

I pulled the negative termal at liuch, and just put it back on not to long ago... everything appears to be the same.. I guess Ill break down and go to autozone to check my codes.. Im really trying to think what else it could be. Oh, I haven't put fuel system cleaners in there for maybe 10K miles.. but I'll give it another shot. Any recommended brands? I have tried different kinds.

Thanks again..

I am hoping you meant you had to buy a new gas cap, and not a new car..LOL

Well guys... I know for sure that I did not blow the bulb.. guess what light came on this morning on my way to work? - You guessed it.. The engine light is on once again. This only adds to the thought as to why it went out in the first place.. *sigh* more ideas? I looked into getting a new gas cap.. there has to be a cheaper way..

I have a 98 SVT Cobra. I am running headers with flowmaster exhaust (no Cats) my "check engine Light" comes on and stays on until I have it scanned and cleared ..scan says rear o2 sensors are problem....from what I have read it would appear that replacing sensors won't help, how do I run my off-road exhaust setup and still have sensors do thier job controlling fuel mixter? or is this even a concern?
