I just bought a 2004 coupe with 15,000 miles, a very nice looking car. There is no cruise control! Can anyone tell me if I can add cruise control and where would be the best place to purchase the parts etc. to add it. Thanks

i dont understand how any1 could order a car without cruise control, its soooooo convienent on the highway!!


anyways, ford can install it for you, but it will be pricy, you could also buy the parts or a "kit" online
and take it to your mechanic

I just installed cruise control on my ford zx2. not sure about the newer stangs, but the zx2 is a 98 and they all came 'prewired" for it. I just needed a steering wheel with cruise buttons, servo box/throttle cable and brake plunger by the brake pedal. Very easy to do- all parts came out of junk yard. Not sure about mustangs, but im sure they arent that different. Will probaly have to do some investigating.... good luck
