Default how hard/practical is this?

take a V6 99-04 mustang, then drop a 5.4L V8 into it, T56 6-speed tranny, or maybe just leave stock one, and Cobra R body kit etc. I am against cloning cars, but I mean its a Cobra R and only 300 will be made, this is as close as I 'll get.

where would you be gettin the engine from?

good luck finding a tranny. getting the engine/tranny from a cobra r would be nearly impossible, and i think if you get it from an F-150, i would imagine that it would have an automatic transmission.

although that sounds like a great/fun project

I have seen a couple of 5.4 swapped 99-04 GTs.

doing it in a v6 shouldnt really be any harder than doing the swap from a v8 except for a few things like going from vacum brakes system(v6) to hydro system (v8) and the throttle cable assembly, but from experience I have done two late model v6 to v8 swaps and one was pretty easy and the other was really damn hard but yours should be relatively easy for the fact that all youll need for wiring is the engine harness, ecu harness and the ecu itself. Id say go for it if you have a secondary means of transportation. Both swaps that I did were extremely fun
