I have a 2001 v6 and just installed my first mod....it was a flowmaster 40 series delta...sounds great. My question is do I now need to disconect the battery to reset the computer? If so; why?both positive and negative? for how long do I disconect it? Any one know what the power gains are with this type of muffler alone? Thank you for your help

 

No, you dont need to reset the computer.

 

i dont think your going to notice much of a power gain but its a good way to make better sound.
