I'm experiencing a problem with the electrical system in my Mustang. Battery light begins to flash on @ 2200 rpm and is full on @ 2400 rpm. Many opinions out there; replace battery, replace alternator, replace voltage regulator. Volt meter shows no problem at anytime through out the rpm range. Battery seems strong, no problem starting. All parts are original with 102K miles.
Any ideas

 

have the alternator checked the light will come on some times when they are going out
