ShadowDrake the 4.6 maxed out is rated @450hp what is the 5.0 rated for.????

 

Any stock block is going to be a weak point. Several people I know locally [Dallas] are running 400-450rwhp on stock 5 liter blocks. It's all in the tune....especially w/ boost. IF you're choosing between those years, I'd go 5.0 hands down.....cheap parts and available everywhere.
