they slow down your accesory drives and you get some more power... on 4.6 its only like 8 or something. it wont affect mpg enough for you to notice.

you would have to drive virtually the same way, the same distance before and after the install to notice any increase or decrease in fuel mileage. Never gonna happen. As for HP on a bone stock motor? Blah I would save the money and use it to pay for gas at 3 bucks a gallon

I have Steeda pulleys and did a test of before and after mpg's.The pulleys gave about a 1 mpg increase. This test was done on a two lane road that doesn't have a lot of traffic and I drive the same 100 mile round trip every day six days a week.Driving with cruise control set at the same speed and doing the speed limit everywhere for a month before and after installation would give me very accurate measurements. The only place I drove the car was to work,no going to the store,no driving to the beer joint,no nothing extra. When I filled the tank I always used the same pump and filled the tank untill the gas would stay in the filler neck above the fuel fill restrictor.
UDP's are also easier on the engine accessories because they spin at fewer RPM's they also will allow you to use a Steeda timing adjuster.I have one of these also and it gave me two mpg's set at +3*.

I like ASP...they offer sets that reach max output at different rpm's so you can choose which is better....whether it's a daily, or you have a system, etc....
